Volunteer Work Day: Bulb Planting!

October 29 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Over the last three years, MPAC has planted over 10,000 bulbs on the hillsides near the train tracks.  The blooms have brightened the park early the following spring.

Come out 9-11a today (10/29) to help plant over 2,000 more flower bulbs or help with MPAC’s Wildflower Experiment to add even more color and beauty to the park.  There are multiple work dates scheduled to tackle this ambitious project – attend as many or as few as you are able: 9-11a on Sundays, Mondays, & Thursdays Oct 25 – Nov 12 (or until everything’s planted!).  All ages welcome; please bring a mask; planting supplies provided.  Sign Up Here

Oct 25-Nov 1: Meet by the Masaryk statue just west of the train tracks.

Nov 2-8: Meet by the Women’s Memorial bench just east of the train tracks.

Nov 9, 12: Location TBD

Please register in advance here: Volunteer for Bulb Planting
